ANIMAL HEALING

Any form of Healing is a very gentle way of stimulating the healing of the whole body and mind in any situation and is very safe when done by an experienced practitioner.  Despite its gentle nature it can be extremely powerful and beneficient in all manner of non-responding conditions, even the most traumatic or life threatening, and is most known for its ability to relieve physical pain and emotional stress. It may be used on its own or alongside veterinary treatment or other therapies.

Healing is not attached to any religious belief or culture and it is not necessary for someone to believe in it for it to work. Animals do not have a belief about it!

Animals respond beautifully to Healing and instinctively ask for it when they have become used to it. They are far more sensitive to changes in their body than we are and often show that they sense the Healing as it is being given.  Most animals relax considerably, often going to sleep afterwards. They will yawn and stretch during a session and some will walk away indicating they need a break or they have had enough for that day.

Healing can help many animals turn round from a potentially life threatening situation. as well as calming a very traumatised animal after injury or severe stress.

WHAT IS HEALING ?

Healing is a form of Energy Therapy which aims to address imbalances in what is known as the Aura or Electro Magnetic Field (sometimes known by scientists as the Bio Field). Every living thing wether human, animal or plant, has an energetic
LIFE FORCE repesented by an Electro Magnetic Energy Field which exists throughout every cell of the body and extends outside the physical body as an Aura. Its existence can be shown by Kirlian Photography but we do not yet have a machine sensitive enough to test, register or measure it and its changes.

Healers and many other complementary therapists are aware of this field and often seek to stimulate it by therapy. Healers like Ruth can actually FEEL this field (as you can!) and Ruth is able to feel or sense changes in the field as she works. This helps her understand where pain may be felt and how the animal may be feeling.

Healers and complementary therapists know that this field reflects what physical, emotional or mental state the person / animal is in. If there is trauma in any aspect  it will immediately be reflected in the energy field.

If a change occurs in the energy field, it is reflected in the mental or emotional aspects and can eventually cause change in the physical body.

By calming and balancing the energy in the aura and the body, it  can directly affect the physical, mental and emotional balance. So much so that physical symptoms can often disappear.

Healing seeks to balance out any anomalies in the EM field.  As a result, people report feeling very calm, relaxed and with significantly less pain. It is the same for the animals.

Serious physical symptoms should always recieve veterinary diagnosis and treatment. However energy balancing can go a long way to enabling true healing to take place and to help prevent symptoms becoming more serious.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The Healer places their hands very lightly on the body or above the body in the EM field.  The healer will  connect by thought to the  animal and, to the source of healing energies which they work with (often called God). The healer will then allow the healing energies to pass through them to the person or animal needing help. What then happens is up to the individual animal's innate healing ability and not due to the healer themselves. The healer is merely the channel or facilitator.

WHAT MAY IT HELP?

Any condition!

Any situation!

Any animal!

This does not mean healing is necessarily going to CURE the problem, it means that it usually will be of great benefit to the outcome.

Terminally Ill Animals. - This is a very sad time , when you know that nothing more can be done for them and the time has come for you to let go and for them to move on. In these situations healing can be of much benefit and relief as it often reduces the pain levels further and it gives a true sense of rest and peace to the animal. Healing can be given to the owner too to help with the pain of letting go and moving on in their own life.

STORIES - ANIMALS HEALING HAS HELPED

ZOE – Yorkshire Terrier - not eating.
Zoe was being looked after by Pet Rehoming, a charity in Bolton. She had been abandoned with sister. Zoe was incresibly nervous, frightened of her own shadow and not eating. She was terrified of being put down on the floor and preferred to stay snuggled to her carer.

After just 2 Healing treatments Zoe improved a lot. She loved it, falling into a deep sleep each time. “ She is eating better, livelier, more affectionate and not as scared!”

SUZIE - 4 yr old Rex cat - run over.
Susie was run over and found very distressed with tail very limp. She was taken to the vet and kept under observation for 2 weeks. She wasn't eating and was unable to urinate or defaecate. She had damage to internal organs and a broken tail at the base with nerve severence. Prognosis was very poor and amputation of tail was needed. There was a high possibility of euthanasia.
3 Distant Healings showed a marked improvement of urinary and bowel function after each. Susuie was allowed home to regain strength. Hertail still needed to be amputated. 3 hands on sessions of Healing showed a noticeable change in control of the tail starting at the point of the break and gradually moving up to the tip. Full health was restored, movement of tail regained throughout its length although it retained a kink.

TAWNY OWL - not thriving.
He had been found by member of the public in December (very cold). He was In a poor state and taken to a specialist Vet after which he was looked after at a nearby owl rescue center. He was not thriving, not eating and  not interacting with the other owl in the aviary. He was worryingly not keeping under cover (owls need to keep dry to protect their feathers ) and the carer was worried about him survivng in the pouring rain and freezing cold. Despite the cold, Ruth gave him Healing from a distance inside the cage until he accepted it and lost his instinctual fear of her. He gradually relaxed so much  the carer thought he was dying as he was falling off his perch and hanging on with one leg. Ruth felt he needed to be moved to another aviary as he was not getting on with his cage mate. One week later, he had completely come round and was eating hungrily. Another week later he was released into the wild. Success!

Tiny Mouse that the Cat brought in!
My cat brought in a really tiny little mouse he had caught. He was only just breathing and i thought he would die very quickly. He was on his side and very still in my hand. I always give healing in these cases to ease their transition. I have helped many mice my cats had brought in but this was the tiniest i had seen. Usually you have no idea if they have internal injuries even if they appear to be unharmed.

After 10 minutes or so i felt  stirring but i thought it was just the first stage of convulsions before he died. Imagine my delight when a few minutes later he sat up and began to groom himself. This usually means they have a chance. I put him in my special small animal house with food, water and bedding. Over the next 2 days i gave him more healing and he got perkier and perkier. He was so lively on the 3rd day i let him go happily. He had another chance!

BLUE - Young Blue Rat - not thriving.

He was under-developed, underweight, showing hair loss, dry scabby skin with self inflicted wounds and was very lethargic. Vet diagnosis (after weeks of unsuccessful treatment) - genetic disorder due to being blue. Euthanasia  was suggested.
After 4 sessions he was r
estored to full health and vitality.  He grew to full size and lived normal life span.
